About the event
“UGH — this to-do list just keeps piling up with things I simply DO NOT want to do BUT MUST get done.” - You, probably.
Don’t worry, we’ve got a fix for that! Join The Village’s co-working session and tackle your tasks in solidarity. Let’s support each other while we deal with those *slightly annoying* but *definitely necessary* tasks.
We'll gather on the second Friday of every month to get this sh*t done! And if you’re wondering what the event title means, it’s a theme from The West Wing (a common source of inspiration used here in The Village).
Here’s the episode summary: In preparation for the Friday night briefing for the Saturday papers and news broadcasts, White House Press Secretary, CJ Gregg (Allison Janney), juggles the press and upcoming policy changes while determining which stories the White House doesn't want heavy coverage on or would like to avoid any pushback on. This is why Friday is nicknamed,”take out the trash day!” Friday stories end up in the Saturday papers and broadcasts which are the least read and watched news cycles of the week, giving their stories the benefit of a little less attention.
So, this event is called… “Take Out The Trash Day” Day! Because sometimes you just have to get the stuff out there and done so it can be done and out there.
